We are now partners with Days For Girls!
The Sanitation4Sisters team is very excited to announce our new partnership with the UK branch of Days For Girls, a not-for-profit similarly focused on reducing the stigma around menstruation and helping provide sanitary products for women across the globe. Whilst our donations will still mostly go to our partners over at the Marylebone Project, our main work with DFG surrounds our role as sewing partners.

So what does this mean?
Essentially, we will be spending a lot of time over the Summer sewing washable pads which will eventually be taken over to foreign countries to expand our global fight against period poverty. However, rather than doing this alone, we are asking for your help! Keep your eye on the S4S Instagram in the coming weeks, as we will be hosting a competition to try and get more people to take up the role of sewing partners, with the end goal of producing a really substantial number of washable pads to be taken over to Africa towards the end of the year. We are truly honoured to work with a charity as prestigious as Days For Girls, and we can’t wait to continue to, ‘Shatter the stigma of menstruation,’ with their support.
